Roger writes his thoughts on product management in his blog, and he is the author of two popular articles that appeared in the on-line marketing periodical, MarketingProfs.com.
Roger began his professional career as a software engineer in 1990. He held leadership positions at National Instruments, ObjectSpace, and KLA-Tencor. Roger developed his interest in marketing at ObjectSpace, where he served as technical lead and requirements analyst. He then did inbound and outbound marketing work at KLA-Tencor, a Fortune 500 company and producer of semiconductor equipment. His duties included conducting interviews with prospective customers, analyzing and segmenting the market, composing market requirements documents, delivering customer presentations, and producing sales collateral.
Roger is an Austinite and lives in the heart of downtown. He received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy, along with a minor in Computer Science, from the University of Texas in 1990.
